March Into Women's History March Madness Bracket
Join us for the following:
Starting Monday, March 11, 2019 begin voting in the first round. You will have until midnight, March 14 to vote. We will narrow the field from 64 to 32.
March 15 we will announce the next round and start voting. We will narrow the field from 32 to 16.
The Sweet 16 will be announced on March 19.
March 21 we will announce the Elite 8 and start voting to narrow to our Final Four.
The Final Four will be announced on March 25. Voting will start to narrow the field to our final two women.
March 27 we will start voting for our final woman.
She will be announced on Thursday, March 28 at 4 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room at our "Reveal Party." All are welcome.

Description: Women’s History Month commemorations positively impact the morale and retention of female students, increase the capacity of students to talk about sex and gender with sensitivity, create a positive cultural climate for diversity and encourage appreciation of difference. Although women have made gains socially, professionally and economically, sexism remains a pervasive barrier to equality. This session provides a historical framework for understanding sexism and explores trending topics to highlight contemporary challenges that women face in regards to equality. Participants will be introduced to multi-racial and multicultural biographies of high-achieving women, five empowerment tools that can be used to challenge sexism and a blueprint for how to become an ally in the quest for women’s equality and social justice.
